SEAN FLOOD

A graduate of the Art Institute of Boston, local painter Sean Flood has moved full-steam-ahead into his career in the fine arts.  Mr. Flood has exhibited his work extensively in and around Boston, taking part in events such as the SOWA ArtWalk (2007/2008), the Art House project, and the Coolidge Corner Arts Festival, and exhibiting as a solo artist in commercial venues such as J.P. Licks and Trident Booksellers.  Ever-active in the local arts community, Sean has begun working with the Boston Redevelopment Authority in an effort to secure locations where artists of varying media can show their work.  With a focus on large-scale cityscapes executed in both oil and acrylic, Sean’s work has noticeable local relevance and a unique combination of soul and commercial viability.  Taking part in his first Salon Nouveau event in May after attending the Salon’s second installment on April 3rd, Sean shared four pieces at our last event, setting and admirable standard for future contributors.  View additional work by Sean Flood and find out more about this promising up-and-comer at his website:
